    When we first arrived at our AirBnB site, we noticed this place called Dallas Chicken and Ribs.  Us being from TX, was like whoa, maybe some transplants from TX?  Anyways we kept joking about eating here, but on our last meal in town, we were dead tired and wanted to get something quick and nearby.

    We came in and were shocked to see their combo prices were like 3-4 pounds each.  And the combo came with chips AND a drink.  This was their version of cheap soul food.  I got one of the 4 rib combos with cole slaw and an apple drink and another 6 wing combo with beans and a pineapple drink/tango?.  

    The ribs were awful, literally, inedible, I took two bites and threw the rest away.  They are lamb ribs, just not a good combo.  The chips are plentiful, but I guess I am just used to eating them with ketchup, they only had salt and pepper, the cole slaw, I took one bite and discarded it as well.  The wings combo on the other hand was better.  Their wings are like a lower grade KFC.  Once again a bunch of chips (fries), the beans were much better, tasted out of a can, but at this point that was a good thing.

    Now the best part of the meal? The drinks! The apple was very much like apple and the pineapple was like fanta.  The price of the drinks at some restaurants were equivalent to our whole combo.  So that alone redeemed things.
